Context
First role at Ecto, before the senior promotion. Wide remit on a small team — I was equally likely to be debugging a Gatsby build, deploying to production or wiring up a new GMB-backed feature.
What I owned
- Implemented features on top of the Google My Business API for listings management.
- Managed deployments and rollback procedures for the small fleet.
- Maintained a couple of Gatsby-based blogs and tightened their SEO setup.
Highlights
- Shipped enough sustained value to be promoted to Senior Fullstack Developer.
Outcome
Solid foundation across the team's stack and the customer success motion.
