Senior Fullstack Developer (Remote) — Ecto Digital

Context

Ecto Digital builds tools for Brazilian local businesses on top of the Google My Business API. I was promoted from fullstack to senior, then took the lead on a few cross-cutting initiatives.

What I owned

• Architected the migration from batch routines to a real-time event-driven pipeline for review ingestion.
• Introduced a code-review process and mentored two junior developers.
• Built a self-serve subscription system to onboard small clients without a sales call.
• Owned production deployments and on-call response for the systems I shipped.

Highlights

• Cut review-to-dashboard latency from ~hourly to seconds.
• Self-serve subscription brought in a long tail of small businesses that previously couldn't be reached.
• Lifted code-review coverage to 100% of merged changes within two months.

Outcome

The pipeline I designed continued to run after I left, and the subscription system became the default onboarding path.
