Context
After ten years in product engineering inside companies, I turned to consulting: same craftsmanship, different shape of accountability. Each engagement is a thin contract focused on shipping the smallest thing that earns the next conversation.
What I owned
- Discovery, scoping and proposal: translate a fuzzy brief into a one-page plan and an honest estimate.
- Architecture and tech choice: pick the boring stack that fits the size of the team and the speed they want.
- Hands-on coding across stacks (TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js, React, Flutter) and infra (Docker, AWS, GCP).
- Working alongside founders and product folks during launch and the first weeks in production.
Highlights
- Shipped a Miami real-estate WhatsApp assistant that captures and qualifies leads from the first message.
- Designed and built a multitenant municipalities chatbot used by city halls in Brazil.
- Refactored a Flutter app from Express to NestJS without breaking the live App Store / Play Store releases.
- Built an automated viability-report engine for a carbon-credit platform.
Outcome
Six paid clients, every retainer renewed, and zero rollback-grade incidents in production.
