Context
Sevencred was a fintech building a loan platform on top of FCO (a Brazilian agribusiness fund). Small team, big regulatory surface. I took ownership of the backend and the borrower-facing mobile app.
What I owned
- Designed APIs in TypeScript + NestJS as microservices ready for fintech-grade scale and security.
- Built a Flutter app for loan applications and customer onboarding.
- Implemented crawlers and ETL pipelines that ingested public government data (SIGEF, RFB) into MongoDB.
- Mentored a junior developer through code review and pair programming.
Highlights
- Shipped a complete onboarding flow that went from public APIs to a normalized profile in seconds.
- Stood up a Ghost-based public portal for SEO and content marketing.
- Held the technical end of the early-stage product alongside the founders.
Outcome
Project paused pre-MVP after a funding shortfall, but the codebase was demoable and the team transitioned cleanly.
